PU27 Powerline UPS Battery Pack
Bought these for the 1st time over a year ago and they have been faultless. This is my second purchase for a different unit as I knew that they will do the job perfectly.

PU220 Powerline UPS Battery Pack
Very easy to swap into APC UPS (SMT1500i), only time will tell on their longevity.

PU220 Powerline UPS Battery Pack
Bought to replaced batteries in an old APC UPS that took RBC7 battery packs. Have replaced the batteries many times before with Yuasa NP18-12B's that have lasted around 6 years on average. While replacing I immediately noticed the Powerline batteries seemed lighter - checked and each single Yuasa battery was 5.9kg - and the Powerline replacement only 4.6kg. To be fair the Yuasa were rated 18Ah and Powerline just 17Ah but would have expected weight of say 5.5kg if it was in proportion to that. I'll wait and see how much this affect the lifespan and backup power time of the UPS. Also the batter tabs were significantly further back on the batteries - probably about 4mm - so I had to adjust the extension bit I have for the fuse to reach them - so more faff than I expected for what I expected to be a straight swap. All said though the Powerline ones are half the price of Yuasa ... only time will tell if this is a false economy or not. Service and speed of delivery from Tanya was great. I have knocked off a star for low eight and one for the tabs distance difference - so 3 stars from me. Would I buy again? Now I have some adjusted connectors for the fuse already maybe I would - depends on how well they last really.

What is a UPS Battery?
The UPS is effectively a bank of 12V batteries that through the use of an inverter are converted to a 240V power source. Your computer equipment is connected to the mains through the battery bank, which is constantly kept at peak charge through the mains source. Should the mains power fail, the battery bank becomes the power supply. The ideal scenario would be for the battery power to last until the mains power is returned, but should the battery power deplete before this time, most UPS systems will safely shut down the computer equipment without any data loss.
Another benefit of connecting your delicate computer equipment through a UPS is that in most systems any power surges or power spikes are smoothed to the point that they never reach your computer systems.
You may simply have a tiny UPS that supports your desktop personal computer, or you may have a huge data centre that has banks and banks of UPS circuits. Either way, we can supply batteries for your UPS system.
